Hear EBGIS Students and Faculty Talk About MyKlexikon on German Radio!

Today, listeners of the Bavarian Broadcasting public radio station (Bayerischer Rundfunk) heard a terrific report about the MyKlexikon online encyclopedia project happening at EBGIS. Bavarian Broadcasting -- a member of the ARD media consortium -- reaches a whopping eight million listeners and viewers daily. The coverage is a wonderful way to kick-off the groundbreaking MyKlexikon project happening at EBGIS. Read the first MyKlexikon article here.

Our preschool won the “Home-Away-From-Home Award” award for Best Child Care, and our school as a whole won the “Live and Learn Award” for Best Educational Experience. EBGIS was also recognized as one of the best language immersion schools in Bay Area Parent Magazine's "Best of the Best" rankings, and was also selected by Parents' Press Best of the Bay for 2019!

Afternoon Enrichment Classes

We are pleased to offer you a variety of afternoon enrichment classes for the 2019 fall semester. This year, even more of the after school classes are in German, providing students additional opportunities to improve their German language skills.

All activities are also available for students not currently enrolled at EBGIS.

Movie Screening - Unbelehrbar

EBGIS is now accepting applications for the 2019/2020 school year.  If you have not visited our campus this year, we invite you to come to one of our upcoming tours or open house events. Tour and open house dates are as follows:  

  • Campus Tour | December 7, 9 am - 10:30 am
  • Campus Tour | January 11, 9 am - 10:30 am
  • Open House | March 2, 10 am - 1 pm

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Because of the high interest in our preschool and kindergarten, we will have two enrollment cycles this year. For the first cycle, preschool and kindergarten admission applications are due by November 30, 2018.

A special screening of the movie Unbelehrbar with Anke Hentschel, director of the movie, in attendance. This award-winning movie about analphabetism is screened in German language with English subtitles.
