Volunteer Opportunities

Those looking to take on a more active role in shaping our school community can join a Family Association committee or volunteer to co-lead one of a variety of projects:

• Class Parent Representative – support teachers, coordinate classroom communications, and help organize celebrations

• Community Outreach – build connections within and beyond our school through events and local partnerships

• Staff Appreciation – help celebrate and support our incredible teachers and staff throughout the year

• Admissions & Advancement – assist with school tours, open house events, and parent-to-parent webinars for prospective families

• Equity & Inclusion – contribute to efforts that promote a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse school culture

Volunteers help bring our community celebrations and fundraisers to life.

• Organize school-wide events in collaboration with the Director of Culture

• Assist with setup, cleanup, or event logistics

• Support student-led fundraisers or classroom celebrations

Held on the third Saturday of each month, these community workdays offer hands-on tasks to help improve and maintain our campus.

• Gardening and outdoor cleanup

• Light carpentry or tool-based tasks

• Organizing storage areas or classrooms

• Special campus projects and seasonal refreshes

A peaceful and rewarding way to spend time on campus.

• Reading to students during library time

• Reshelving books and organizing sections

• Cataloging and entering new books into our digital inventory

Prefer to contribute from home or on a flexible schedule? There are many ways to support EBGIS | EBIHS behind the scenes:

• Graphic design and communications – assist with flyers, digital content, or yearbook page layouts

• Photo organization – help collect and organize event photos for school publications

• Material preparation – assemble kits or resources for classroom activities and school events

• Prospective family outreach – write school recommendations or assist with welcome emails for admissions
