We have designed the application process to be simple and efficient.

Visit the School

We invite you to visit the school and experience our vibrant and engaging learning environment for yourself.

Join us for one of our scheduled tours or open house days, or if those dates aren’t convenient for you, arrange for a private visit.


Submit Admissions Application

To apply, choose either the online method or paper method described below. The application deadline is February 15, 2018. Applications received after that date will be considered if space is available.

Online

  • Click on the “Apply Online” button on this page to access the online application form.

  • Fill out the application then enter your name on the signature line to electronically sign the document.
  • Choose “credit card” or “bank withdrawal” and enter your payment information for the application fee (bank withdrawal is the preferred form of payment).
  • Click “Submit” to transmit the form and your payment to EBGIS.

Paper

  • Download the application form via the button on this page.
  • Print, fill out, and sign the form.
  • Return the completed application, along with a check for the non-refundable application fee of $75. Either drop-off in person or send via post to EBGIS at this address:

An application will not be complete until EBGIS has received both your application form and the application fee. Make all checks out to “East Bay German International School”.


Follow-Up Visit

After you’ve submitted your admissions application, we will invite you and your child for a follow-up visit. If geographic or scheduling challenges make an in-person visit impractical, we can arrange an online video conversation.


Admissions Decision

We will review your application carefully and notify you of the admissions decision by e-mail and/or post. For applications received by February 15, 2018, we will notify you no later than the EBISA schools notification date of March 8, 2018. If your application is approved you will receive an enrollment contract and additional information via e-mail.


Return Enrollment Agreement

If you decide to enroll your child at EBGIS, please submit the enrollment agreement and pay the required fees by the date indicated on your enrollment agreement. To secure your child's place in his or her class, we must receive your signed enrollment agreement and the required fees by March 16, 2018. To submit your enrollment agreement, choose one of the following options:

DocuSign

  • Open the enrollment agreement file that we will send you via DocuSign.
  • Fill out required information as indicated.
  • Sign the form via DocuSign where indicated and click “Finish”.
  • Pay the required fees by check or through our online payment portal.

Paper

  • Print the enrollment agreement that we will email to you.

  • Fill out the required information as indicated.
  • Sign the agreement and return the completed and signed agreement in person or via post to EBGIS at this address:

After you have submitted the enrollment contract and paid the fees due, EBGIS will return a countersigned enrollment agreement to you together with instructions regarding other forms and information. Please note that you must submit additional enrollment documents before your child may begin attending classes.
