The graduation of the Class of 2025 marks a defining moment in the history of East Bay German International School and East Bay International High School. As the school’s first high school graduating class, these students have grown alongside EBGIS | EBIHS—shaping and being shaped by the school’s evolution from its earliest days as a small East Bay start-up to a fully accredited international school.
Their trust in our vision and willingness to lead the way have left an indelible mark. Through years of transition, growth, and achievement—including the founding of our high school, the launch of the IB Diploma Programme, and the expansion of our multilingual, inquiry-based approach—they have set the standard for what it means to be global citizens, risk-takers, and changemakers.
This is not just their graduation—it’s a celebration of a community’s commitment to building something lasting and exceptional. We thank the Class of 2025 for lighting the path forward.

As a non-German-speaking family, we were initially hesitant about enrolling our son in EBGIS’s immersion program. But from the moment we experienced the school’s warm, inclusive community, we knew we had made the right choice.
