DDC Breakdance from Schweinfurt, Germany, joined us in the Aula, and our students came out wide-eyed!
The three dancers started by getting everyone involved, showing steps, teaching moves to try, and suddenly an entire Aula full of children and teenagers was moving in rhythm. Grades 4 through 12, all at once, which is not something you see often!
And then the three of them showed us what they can do. At that point, it went quiet, right before it got very, very loud. Power, precision, humor, and some seriously impressive moves! 👏
A big thank you to the German Consulate General in San Francisco for bringing DDC to the Bay Area and making this visit possible. Being one of only six schools they visited is something we are genuinely happy about.
