Green Week 2026 (April 20-24)

Green Week 2026 (April 20-24)

From April 20 to 24, our school celebrated its annual Green Week in connection with Earth Day on April 22, organized by our first-grade teacher Valerie Ehrenthal.

Under this year’s theme, “Clean Seas,” students, parents, and faculty were invited to explore the beauty of our oceans and reflect on the importance of protecting them.

Each day of the week highlighted a different focus for sustainable action: “Mindful Monday,” “Trashless Tuesday,” “Wasteless Wednesday,” “Traffic Thursday,” and “Future Friday” encouraged the school community to think about everyday choices and their impact on the environment. Across all grade levels, students took part in meaningful activities ranging from classroom discussions and creative projects to hands-on experiences such as neighborhood walks and clean-up initiatives.

The week concluded on a high note with a community movie evening in the auditorium. Families and friends gathered to enjoy the film Oceans, accompanied by popcorn and drinks, offering a captivating look at marine life and an inspiring message about ocean conservation.
